DIPLOMA IN APPAREL ENGINEERING

After globalization the textile export is doubled. The manpower requirment also increased to multifold. Since our polytechnic college is situated very nearer to Tirupur the job potential is very high. In this course the students will be knowing from yarn to Garment and packing. They will be knowing in detail about the merchandising, patlern making, cutting, Tailoring etc.,

Qualification For Admission To The First Year Courses

• A mere Pass in S.S.L.C.(10 year schooling) under new regulations with eligibility for admission to the Higher Secondary Courses of study in Tamilnadu H.Sc.,Board Schools

(or)

• Any other qualification recognized as equivalent to pass in S.S.L.C. Or 10th Standard of Tamilnadu High School by the Directorate of School Education Tamilnadu.

Qualification For Admission To The Direct Second Year Courses

• A mere Pass in H.Sc.,(Vocational Engineering Courses or academic maths group) study in the Higher Secondary Schools with eligibility for University Courses of Study.
  
• In Vocational Course the candidates have either maths or hysics or Chemistry.

Age Limit

• As per Tamilnadu Government norms.
